Indian Valley Carriage Company works closely with families, Funeral Parlors, churches and cemeteries to provide traditional casket transportation with a glass-faced black antique hearse pulled by two matched white horses.   Funerals can take place many ways, partly dependent on the locations of those listed above.

The motorized hearse brings the casket to the front of the cemetery, where we will take possession for the final ride to the burial site. If the Church or Funeral  Parlor in in close proximity to the cemetery, we would take possession of the casket at the end of the service and transport to the burial site. Another Funeral option is between one location and another, sometimes with a procession of walkers and/or drivers.  Not all streets are safe for the horses and the hearse, factors such as grade, surface, traffic, automobile speed and visibility need to be considered.
